Biography: Katherine Mazaheri-Franze is founder and Managing Partner of Mazaheri Law Firm. In 2009, she opened the Mazaheri Law Firm that has grown from a solo practice to a burgeoning law firm with multiple attorneys and a dedicated support staff. In a short time, Mazaheri Law Firm has gained a powerful reputation for taking on cases leading to extensive recoveries for clients. Her practice focuses on complex litigation, including employment law, family law, immigration law, property law, and contract negotiations.
As a dedicated attorney to Oklahomans, she focuses her practice of law on providing straight-forward legal services with compassion. Her most impactful achievements stem from helping underrepresented individuals protect their interests. Through Mazaheri Law Firm's efforts, the attorneys have assisted those citizens and non-citizens suffering from difficulties with their family and in the workplace with diligence, creativity, and compassion. Some of her proudest achievements include cases that have brought families together or fighting against social injustice. Additionally, as a business owner herself, she is able to assist other business owners in avoiding the pitfalls of hiring, termination, and discipline of employees.
Mazaheri-Franze's true passion is her love of family, in particular: children. She is a board member of EMOMs, Edmond Mothers of Multiples, and has dedicated support toward assisting in organizations that focus on children's needs/rights. As of July 2019, she is a board member of the YWCA of Oklahoma City an organization that focuses on emergency crisis-intervention services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Previously, she was an active member of Youth Services for Oklahoma County Board of Trustees, a well-known organization whose focus is “Changing Young Lives” in the community and has sit on the in-kind committee for Infant Crisis Services. She also has worked tirelessly for families, helping with the adoption process for many Oklahomans. It’s a process that she’s familiar with, having added a little brother and cousin to her own family, so it’s a cause, among many others, that she will wholeheartedly continue to fight for.
Attorney Mazaheri-Franze is a graduate and fellowship recipient from Oklahoma City University School of Law and a University of Oklahoma Alum. Mazaheri's experience ranges from years as a real estate associate to clerking for a National insurance company and assisting in contract legal work for commercial properties through MidFirst Bank. Her legal experience also covers geographic areas ranging from work in Oklahoma City, Washington DC, and Orlando, Florida. She is AV® Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Rated For Highest Level of Professional Excellence in 2017 and has been recognized as a SuperLawyers Rising Stars for 2016, 2017. She continues her community involvement as an alternate delegate for the Oklahoma Bar Association House of Delegates, as a member of the OCU Law alumni board and mentorship committee member, and a committee member at Infant Crisis Services.
